This luxury home on Tormey Street, Balwyn North, is the result of twelve months of careful planning, craftsmanship and commitment. As the builder, I didn’t just want to complete another project. I wanted to create a home that truly reflects what modern luxury living can be a place where design, comfort and everyday practicality all come together..

From the street, the home makes a strong and confident first impression. The façade is modern but timeless, with clean lines and a balanced mix of materials that sit naturally within the leafy Balwyn North streetscape. Large windows, considered proportions and a welcoming entry all work together to signal that this is a home built with intention. It feels refined without being showy, and that balance was important from day one.

The private areas of the home were designed as retreats. The main bedroom offers a sense of calm and escape, with enough space to feel generous while still feeling cosy and personal.

06.

Spacious walk in wardrobe with custom joinery, soft lighting and smart storage, designed to showcase clothing, shoes and accessories while keeping everything organised, accessible and luxurious.

The bathrooms continue the same design language as the rest of the home clean lines, quality fixtures and a simple, elegant palette. They are practical for everyday use, but they also feel like spaces where you can slow down and unwind.

08.

Thoughtful details, such as walk in showers, well placed lighting and considered tile choices, all contribute to that sense of quiet luxury.

Large windows flood the room with natural light, while integrated storage, sleek finishes and refined details create a calm, luxurious workspace for focused work and private meetings.

10.

A focused yet relaxing environment, perfect for deep work, and private calls.

Over the twelve months of construction, a lot of attention went into the unseen details insulation, glazing, orientation and ventilation.

These decisions help keep the home comfortable year round, reducing noise and improving energy efficiency. The result is a space that feels cool and airy in summer, and warm and inviting in winter. Luxury, to me, is not just about what you see, but also about how a home feels to live in every day.

As a builder, I believe true luxury is not just about expensive finishes or bold features. It’s about creating a home that feels considered, comfortable and complete.

On Tormey Street, that meant designing every room with a clear purpose, making sure the circulation feels natural, and ensuring that every view whether you’re looking across the living area, out to the garden or down a hallway feels intentional and pleasing.

This home is also about lifestyle. It’s designed for people who value quality, who enjoy entertaining, and who want their home to support the way they live. There are spaces for gathering and connection, and there are quieter corners for rest and reflection.

12.

The layout, the light, the materials and the details all work together to create a place that feels good to come home to, day after day.

13.

Looking back on the twelve months it took to bring this project to life, there were challenges, decisions and countless small adjustments along the way.

14.

That’s part of building at this level. But standing in the finished home now, walking through the rooms and seeing how everything connects, you can feel the result of that effort.

15.

This is a home built to be lived in, enjoyed and appreciated not just today, but for many years to come.

16.

For me, this Tormey Street project is a clear example of what “Building Luxury, Creating the Ultimate Lifestyle” really means.

17.

It’s a home that reflects its location, respects its surroundings and gives its owners a beautiful, comfortable and practical place to live.

18.

That is the standard I aim for in every build, and this home is a proud showcase of that approach.
